The University of Alabama invites applications for a postdoctoral research associate position starting July 1, 2008. The successful candidate would work on the Double Chooz reactor neutrino experiment to measure the mixing angle θ₁₃. The Double Chooz experiment is under construction with data taking scheduled to begin in 2009. The initial appointment would be for two years; thereafter the appointment would be extended annually by mutual agreement.

A Ph.D. in experimental particle physics or related field is required.
